Iconic guitar brand Gibson has a new home in London. The Gibson Garage is the first Gibson flagship store to open outside of the States, and boasts over 300 electric and acoustic guitars, as well as an electric event space.
The Gibson Garage London’s official opening was graced by legendary music biz figures such as Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi, Sir Brian May, James Bay, and Rosie Frater-Taylor.

The Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab in the Garage allows music lovers to design their own Made-to-Measure guitar, choosing unique guitar tops and customising specs inside and out. A dedicated Acoustic guitar room showcases one of the largest displays of Gibson Acoustic guitars in the country.
With areas dedicated to Epiphone electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, as well as a substantial collection of Kramer guitars, the Gibson Garage caters to musicians of all levels.
Beyond guitars, the Gibson Garage London promises a cultural exploration. Regular live performances, artist showcases, signings, and panel discussions take centre stage on the lower level. The Gibson Gallery, a bi-annual revolving gallery wall, showcases the photography of British artists and musicians. The inaugural exhibition, featuring the legendary Gered Mankowitz’s exclusive collection, adds a touch of British music history to the venue.
The opening day witnessed music fans lining up since the early hours, with the Gibson Noel Gallagher ’78 Les Paul Custom hand-signed guitars selling out within 30 minutes, contributing to the Teenage Cancer Trust. The day was filled with live performances by Ritchie Faulkner of Judas Priest, The Blackout, Tyler Childers Band, and Gibson Generation Group artist Charlie Churchill.
Cesar Gueikian, President, and CEO of Gibson, expressed the significance of the opening, stating, “The London Garage opening events, the artists that joined us, and most importantly the local and global teams working together to make it happen are evidence that we are setting conditions for the best years of Gibson to be ahead of us.”
