The flagship takes customers on a sensory journey across its three floors. The ground floor showcases the brand’s luxury speakers and televisions in a setting of sophisticated simplicity, with steel, glass, and glazed ceramic tiles.
Descend to the lower ground floor, and you’ll enter the sensorium – a haven for the ultimate sound experience. The reflective metal walls and pink carpet lead to a private space for sound demonstrations.
Ascending to the first floor, customers enter the realm of Bang & Olufsen’s bespoke solutions. In this apartment-style setting, individuals can become creators, personalising products crafted by Bang & Olufsen in its specialist factory in Denmark.
The first floor will also host a program of cultural events, including live music, podcasts, streamed panel discussions, and art exhibitions. Dubbed the ‘artist in residence’ space, it provides a platform for local creators, embracing the creativity of London’s vibrant cultural scene.
Bang & Olufsen CEO Kristian Teär expresses excitement about the new flagship, stating, “We wanted to extend this feeling to our new London flagship store by becoming the destination where you can hear, see, and feel the magic of Bang & Olufsen, experience our products and unique heritage.”
The store launch follows a similar opening in New York and continued expansion in Paris. Sidonie Robert-Degove, Head of Global Retail at Bang & Olufsen, emphasises the importance of a strong retail presence in global cities, stating, “We have a unique opportunity to give our customers a full product and brand experience like no other in our industry.”
