The new lobby at the Disneyland Hotel Paris
“The Disneyland Hotel is really an extension of the magic of our parks,” explains Xavier Louyot, Director of Hotels and Resorts Product and Franchises, who has led this reinvention.
The interiors have been totally stripped, with almost nothing kept except for the concrete structure of the building. “It’s really a transformation, and its also an homage to the royal Disney stories, as well as celebrating European influences, such as the Chateau de Versailles, for example,” says Sylvie Massara, Art Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris.
Here’s what you need to know about the most luxurious hotel in Disneyland Paris…
When will the Disneyland Hotel open in Paris?
The Disneyland Hotel will open on January 25th 2024, with bookings open now.
Stay in rooms inspired by 11 Disney stories
For the totally redesigned bedrooms, the team have worked with Walt Disney Studios to create immersive yet sophisticatedly subtle bedrooms inspired by 11 of Disney’s biggest movies, from The Little Mermaid, Cinderella and Frozen, to recent releases like Raya and the Last Dragon. Guests in the deluxe bedrooms will have access to an all-new space, the deluxe lounge, which is described as “an extension of the experience of these bedrooms”.
The Castle Club Suites: a ‘hotel within a hotel’
The Rapunzel Signature Suites at the Disneyland Hotel, Paris
For the most exclusive royal stay, ‘hotel within a hotel’, The Castle Club, located on the top two floors of the hotel, is the place to stay. Each of the 41 Castle Club Bedrooms and 18 Suites will celebrate 11 beloved Disney stories and luxury amenities, while an enchanted illuminated canopy above the beds adds to the magic. “It offers the perfect balance between personalization and privacy in a beautiful decor and immersive Disney environment where guests will enjoy it the discretion of a private check in and also a private elevator,” explains Louyot.
16 Signature Suites celebrate five classic Disney stories: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled and Frozen, as well as the two further suites, the Princely suite, themed to Beauty and the Beast, and the Royal Suite, which has a Frozen aesthetic.
The Cinderella Signature Suites, for example, have been imagined as a powder-toned, Marie Antoinette-style boudoir, styled on Cinderella’s home – naturally, her glass slipper takes pride of place in the suite, too. The Tangled suites feature cosy wooden elements, with the animated movie’s sundrop flower shining through the room, too.
