Currently on offer from premium prosecco brand Della Vite, DOC Treviso Rosé is a fancy pink fizz that hails from Italy’s celebrated north-eastern prosecco region.
This extra-dry blend is made with 11 per cent Pinot Nero, co-fermented with Glera grapes for 60 days. This extra long fermentation results in a creamy texture and fine mousse. Unusually, the finished wine is then filtered through vegan-friendly ceramic filters.
The Della Vite DOC Treviso Rosé prosecco has a lovely pale pink hue and has a creamy texture with fine bubbles. On the palate it refreshes with notes of strawberries and rhubarb. It’s ideal for drinking on its own, or partnered with salmon, shellfish or a generously dressed Caesars salad.
Presented in a stylish frosted bottle with signature label, it’s bottled at 11.5% ABV.
