For many, the al fresco glamour of Henley Royal Regatta marks the start of the British social summer party season.
This year that’ll be particularly true, as for the first time, Chinawhite and Soho private members’ club Christabel’s launches its all-new collaboration with the occasion: Christabel’s at Henley ’23.
It’s set to be the place to be at the most prestigious rowing event in the world – and it’s going to bring a rock ‘n’ roll edge to the proceedings, with “live and debauched” entertainment abound inside the exclusive enclosure, as well as a fresh take on the dress code, dubbed, “a touch of The Riot Club vs. St Trinian’s”.
Guests with tickets to Christabel’s at Henley ’23 will secure access to the secretive Christabel’s inner sanctum within the Henley Regatta, where they’ll be able to indulge in the aforementioned entertainment, red carpet photography, imbibe at a private bar, and enjoy lavish lavatories.
You’ll then also get an ‘All Access’ pass to the prestigious Chinawhite enclosure, a perfect place for prime riverside viewing of the historic boat race, five bars offering an array of libations, gourmet street food, beauty parlors to party in style, and an exciting lineup of dancing and DJ performances, including headliner DJ JOJO.
The new-kid-on-the-block private member’s club, launched in 2020 as an alternative and avant-garde London haven, will surely make way for provocative partying and all-out fun at this year’s regatta. We’d expect nothing less, the club’s tagline, ‘Good girls go to Annabel’s, Bad girls go to Christabel’s’.
After all, as Constantine Kulukundis, co-director of Chinawhite, said, “Chinawhite are excited to be working with Christabel’s on their new VIP concept which we believe will deliver an edgy twist to Henley but also a vibrant new clientele.”
So when and where do you need to be to join the shenanigans? The party will be happening on Friday, June 30th, 2023, at the Chinawhite Enclosure, Henley on Thames. Tickets cost £75, with tables available on request.
We’ll see you on the riverbank, Riot Club regalia and all.
