A tray of mouth-watering pizzas from 081 Neapolitan Pizza

Gin and pizza? Sounds like a great combo to us! South London’s Neapolitan pizza specialist 081 Pizzeria has a two week pop-up kitchen at Camden’s gin-tastic gastro pub, The Colonel Fawcett, this August, and you won’t want to miss out.

Running August 16 – 29, the menu features 081’s lauded Neapolitan pizzas with signature soft dough and pillowy crust. Signature choices are the ‘Capricciosa’ (Tomato Sauce Base, Cooked Ham, Spicy Salame, Mushrooms, Olives, Artichokes, Parmesan, Basil & EVO Oil) and the ‘Pistachiosa’ (Pistachio Pesto Base, Fior Di Latte Mozzarella, Mortadella, Burrata and Pistachio Sprinkles).

081 Pizzeria is also promising a selection of small tapas dishes inspired from Naples with innovative recipes and garnishes. Dishes include the ‘Frittatina’ – Deep Fried Italian MacNCheese with Minced Meat, ‘Arancina’ – Deep Fried Rice Ball filled with Bolognese, and more. Vegan options and desserts will also be available.

The Colonel Fawcett is celebrating its annual Gin Day on August 20. Tickets for the annual gin fest at the celebrated backstreet boozer are just a fiver, and that includes serves from a range of brands.
