The Character of Islay Whisky Company is holding a virtual Burns Night celebration on January 21, and we’re all invited. Dr Sam Simmons, Head of Whisky, will be hosting this free to attend, appropriately themed gathering.
The shindig, which will be streamed on the @characterofislay Facebook and YouTube channels at 8pm, promises a whole host of whisky legends, ready to delve into the work of the titular Scottish storyteller. We’re told yarns will be spun and fires will roar.
There will also be a tutorial on how to make a delicious whisky cocktail with The Character of Islay Whisky Company’s Aerolite Lyndsay (46 per cent ABV).
