Disney+ has dropped the first trailer for its upcoming original documentary series Marvel’s 616, which debuts on the streaming service November 20. The eight-episode anthology series promises genre fans a deeper look into the creative world of Marvel, throwing a spotlight on lesser know characters and creators.
Each documentary, directed by different filmmakers with an individual vision, showcases the intersections of storytelling, pop culture, and fandom within the Marvel Universe. Episodes promise to introduce us to ‘world-spanning artists, the trailblazing women of Marvel Comics, discovering the forgotten characters of Marvel.’
