A collection of the world’s best loved classical music has been remixed in immersive Dolby Atmos and released as the 3D Classical Collection, by Warner Classics.

Recorded by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, with British conductor Ben Gernon, at Studio One Abbey Road, the 3D audio playlist is exclusively on Amazon Music.

“Our aim has been to ensure that each track has the edge of live performance,” explains Gernon, “to create the electrifying sensation of living inside the music.” 

The 3D Classical Collection covers the work of Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Verdi, Mahler, Elgar, Ravel, Prokofiev, Holst, Shostakovich and Barber.

To enjoy this classical Dolby Atmos experience, you’ll need to subscribe to Amazon Music HD and listen on the Amazon Echo Studio smart speaker system. The Studio uses five built-in directional speakers, to create an immersive soundfield. It boasts a 24-bit high-res audio DAC and a power amplifier with 100 kHz of bandwidth for high-res, lossless music playback.

The Echo Studio boasts a 132mm woofer and 330W of peak power produce deep bass by using the aperture at the bottom to maximize airflow and bass output from the woofer.  A 25mm tweeter and three 51mm  midrange speakers handle the midrange and higher.
