Parasite could be the movie of the year again, with this stunning new black & white edition

Bong Joon Ho’s masterpiece, Parasite, was already our film of 2019.

Now, after it’s triumph at the Oscars, BAFTAs, Golden Globes, SAGs and more, a new, special black and white edition of the brilliant Palme d’Or-winner is being released.

The transfer of the South Korean black comedy thriller was overseen by director Bong Joon Ho and offers the film in lustrous contrasts of monochrome.

And if you missed the film on its first (colour) release, now is the perfect time to catch up on the movie moment of the past year.

The Best Picture winner tells the story of the Kims, who are living a marginal life when their son fakes his way into becoming the English tutor for the ultra-wealthy Park family. Soon all four of the family members have roles in their hyper-stylish modern home, having used every dirty trick in the book to get there. But the house hides secrets that are way outside the Kim’s scheme…

Mixing dark humour with social satire, the movie is as knife-edge tense and gripping as it is funny. Parasite is already the most successful Palme d’Or winner ever, and the perfect 2020 addition to add to the top of your must-see list. We can think of no classier pick than this glorious new black and white print.

Movie night at ours? You bring the Ram-Don…

Parasite – Black and White Edition is in cinemas and on Curzon Home Cinema from July 24
