Swedish-German fashion label Marc O’Polo held a spectacular party for the launch of its premium Modern Organic casual brand, in Stockholm this week, with the help of headline DJ Peggy Gou and some 300 international fashionistas. The event marked the beginning of the brand’s spring/summer 2020 campaign.
The venue was kept secret until the last moment. Shuttles took the guests to the VR-studio on a remote industrial estate. Between the towering industrial units, a battered steel door opened to admit those on the exclusive guest list. Attendees included Caro Daur, Pernille Teisbaek, Sophia Roe, Jan Quammie, Carlijn Jacobs, Imruh Asha, Sasha Panika, Kosta Kara and Rabea Schif.
Local DJs set the scene, before DJ Peggy Gou set the dance floor alight.

Marc O’Polo wins our Party of the Week Award
Ahead of the main launch, the fashion crowd gathered at the new Marc O’Polo concept store in Stockholm, Humlegårdsgatan 19, for a warm-up event. The new monothematic store concept with its sublime, minimalist design, was a fitting platform for the launch.
The new collection is made entirely from organic cotton and will be the focus of its latest campaign, directed by Mikael Jansson, and featuring Anna Ewers, Fei Fei Sun, Parker van Noord and Keiron Caynes.
The highlight of the collection proved to be an organic overshirt with artwork from the launch party. Several pieces from the limited party edition were worn by guests dancing to Peggy Gou’s beat on the dance floor.
