That Boutique-y Whisky Company is marking the height of summer with a seven strong collection led by a 21 Year Old World Whisky Blend that brings together mature spirits from four whisky-producing nations.
The new Summertime Specials collection explores a broad range of styles, from long-aged world whisky and Islay single malt to rarely seen independent bottlings.
Sam Simmons, Head of Whisky at Master of Malt, says the 21 Year Old is the starting point for a collection that includes single malts from Bowmore, Inchgower and Clynelish, along with a 35-year-old Girvan single grain.
All are non-chill-filtered and naturally coloured, with the standard collection releases bottled at 45.8% ABV unless otherwise stated.

A 21-year-old whisky from four countries? Meet Boutique-y’s summer collection
Centre of attention is the 21 Year Old World Whisky Blend, which combines whisky from Scotland, Ireland, Canada and Japan. The blend is finished in sherry casks, with 21 years being the minimum age of the whisky used. The age of the oldest component remains undisclosed.
Its label, created by Glasgow artist Emily Chappell, depicts the globe from the original World Whisky Blend transformed into an ice ball melting into the whisky. The image provides a suitably summery take on the effects of a warming planet.
It follows the original World Whisky Blend, which brought together whiskies from 14 countries and was designed to work across a range of serves, from highballs to neat pours.
This new 21-year-old expression is intended for slow sipping and shorter cocktails. Bottled at 45.8% ABV, only 475 bottles are available, priced at £74.95.
It’s jhoined by The Bowmore 17 Year Old, a medium-peated Islay single malt matured in a refill ex-Bourbon barrel. Just 343 bottles have been produced; it’s priced at £89.95.
The Inchgower 12 Year Old offers a chance to explore a distillery whose spirit is more commonly encountered in blends such as Bell’s and Johnnie Walker. It was matured in a hand-picked refill hogshead before being finished in PX Octaves. There are 336 bottles, priced at £59.95.
The Clynelish 12 Year Old focuses on the distillery’s distinctive waxy character. Matured in a rejuvenated hogshead, the release comprises 350 bottles, priced at £59.95.
Girvan appears in the collection as a venerable 35 Year Old single grain. At this age, independent Girvan bottlings remain relatively uncommon. This whisky has spent 35 years in a single refill barrel. There are 202 bottles released, priced at £89.95.
Two additional releases give the Inchgower and Clynelish expressions a more muscular treatment. The Inchgower is bottled at natural cask strength of 55.2%, with around 98 bottles (£74.95). The Clynelish reaches 54% ABV, with around 314 bottles (£74.95).
For drinkers eager to try before they buy, That Boutique-y Whisky Company has also teamed up with Drinks by the Dram for a Master of Malt-exclusive tasting set. It contains five core Summertime Specials as 30ml wax-sealed drams and sells for an agreeable £32.95.
