Maker’s Mark has launched a new airport‑exclusive Artist Series, pairing its handmade Kentucky bourbon with limited‑edition labels inspired by major global cities.
The collection forms part of a wider programme of travel‑retail exclusives from the distillery. Each release is defined not by a unique liquid or cask profile, but by its artwork. The whisky inside remains classic Maker’s Mark, while the labels showcase original cityscape paintings by Alexandra Pacula. Her long‑exposure, light‑driven style gives each bottle a sense of movement, echoing the rhythm of the destinations that inspired them.
Pacula’s designs span New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London, Dubai, Delhi, Mumbai, Singapore, Seoul, Sydney and Melbourne. Maker’s Mark says the aim is to offer travellers something personal to take home, with each bottle acting as a memento of a journey rather than a new flavour variant.
Rob Samuels, eighth‑generation whisky maker and managing director, describes the series as a way of capturing the “creative energy” of these cities while staying true to the brand’s handmade ethos.
