This Belgravia pub is serving a £200 Antinori wine feast – and it sounds worth every sip

Prine Arthur Belgravia

One of Italy’s most legendary wine dynasties is taking over a Belgravia pub for one night only – and the menu sounds outrageously good.

On Thursday 4 June, Prince Arthur will partner with iconic Italian wine producer Marchesi Antinori for an intimate tasting dinner pairing some of Tuscany’s most celebrated wines with a decadent Basque-inspired menu from new head chef Juan Ruiz.

Hosted in the pub’s elegant private dining room, the evening will guide guests through a curated selection of Antinori wines led by an official ambassador for the historic producer. The lineup includes the legendary Tignanello alongside the refined Cervaro della Sala – two bottles that have become icons among serious wine lovers worldwide.

The menu itself leans full luxury comfort food, with dishes including turbot dripping potatoes topped with Osietra caviar, Herefordshire beef with potato pavé and rich jus, before ending on a chocolate mousse with blueberries and mint.

For London diners increasingly swapping standard reservations for experience-led suppers, it’s exactly the kind of event that seems destined to sell out fast: exclusive wines, a polished setting and a menu that shows off every pour at its best.

The Prince Arthur has quickly become one of Belgravia’s most talked-about dining pubs thanks to its stylish interiors, lively atmosphere and acclaimed Basque restaurant upstairs – and now we have even more reason to plan an evening there ASAP.

Tickets for the Antinori tasting dinner are priced at £200 per person, with very limited spaces available. For anyone serious about Italian wine – or simply in the mood for an exceptionally good Thursday night – this may well be one of London’s most tempting bookings this summer.

Book tickets while they last here.
