Introducing the Magico S7 2026 edition, a new flagship loudspeaker aimed squarely at lovers of luxury audio. Designed and engineered in California, this imposing floorstander, which replaces the original Magico S7 after a decade-long production run, arrives as the most advanced expression of the company’s mid-tier reference range yet, sitting between its A Series and ultra high-end M Series line.
With a price tag of £159,000, the new S7 stands more than 1.4 metres tall and weighs a formidable 174kg; each speaker is carved from thick aluminium panels shaped into a curved, eye-catching form.
This sculpted enclosure is the result of extensive modelling and simulation, intended to minimise resonance. It will also look drop dead gorgeous in your listening room.
Buyers can choose from 12 curated finishes, split across two categories. The Softec powder-coat finishes offer deep, textured colours with a satin-like appearance, while the High Gloss options use automotive-grade paint polished to a mirror sheen.

High-end audio meets luxury design
Inside, the S7 2026 draws heavily on technology developed for Magico’s flagship M Series. A 28mm diamond-coated beryllium tweeter handles high frequencies, while a 6-inch midrange driver and three 10-inch bass units use Magico’s latest Gen 8 Nano-Tec cones. These combine lightweight carbon fibre skins with an aluminium honeycomb core for rigidity and control.
The five drivers are integrated by Magico’s Elliptical Symmetry Crossover, designed to ensure the various elements behave as a single coherent voice. The result, according to the manufacturer, is exceptional clarity and expression, with extremely low distortion and deep, controlled bass.
For those familiar with the Magico sound, this latest S7 promises the same hallmark clarity and transparency the brand is known for, upgraded through cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.
The speaker’s curved front baffle and precision-machined cabinet has been designed to reduce diffraction while maintaining the kind of visual drama expected at this level of the audio market.
Magico’s engineers also expanded the internal cabinet volume compared with the previous S7, extending bass performance while maintaining the speaker’s efficiency. The approach reflects the brand’s long-standing philosophy: remove as much mechanical interference as possible and let the music speak for itself.
The Magico S7 2026 is scheduled to ship this autumn. UK pricing is £159,000 per pair for Softec finishes, and £178,000 per pair for High Gloss versions. It’s available via Absolute Sounds.
