If you’re looking for a wireless music system with a little more edge, then Swedish audio brand Audio Pro has you covered. The brand has just expanded its W-generation wireless speaker range with the Drumfire II W and Drumfire D-2 W.

First launched in 2018, the Drumfire line has developed a loyal following among listeners drawn to its high-energy presentation and distinctive, rock-inspired styling. The pair complete Audio Pro’s W-generation line-up, which began rolling out late 2025.

The Drumfire II W is the full-size system, while the Drumfire D-2 W is a more compact unit that can operate on its own or in tandem with its larger stablemate.

Turn every room into a gig

The Drumfire II W is aimed at those that want high volume, but nuance at any output level. Audio Pro says the speaker has been tuned to retain detail and energy regardless of listening level, reflecting its appeal to rock, jazz and live music fans. It features twin textile-dome tweeters, and a pair of woofers, all powered by 200 watts of Class D amplification.

The Drumfire D-2 W shares the same acoustic approach, in a smaller enclosure. It combines 100 watts of Class D welly, with a pair of textile-dome tweeters and dual woofers.

It can be used solo, or paired with the Drumfire II W as part of a larger music solution; the crossover is automatically adjusted so that the bigger enclosure handles the lowest frequencies. This allows the combo to play louder while maintaining control and reducing strain on the main speaker.

The speakers support Audio Pro’s multiroom platform, allowing users to group speakers across different rooms or configure two units as a left-right stereo pair.

Streaming service support includes Amazon Music, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Napster, Qobuz, QQ Music, Spotify, Tidal, TuneIn and VTuner, with additional services accessible via Google Cast and AirPlay 2.

Six physical presets allow users to store favourite playlists or radio stations for direct access, so no need to open the accompanying app.

Build quality remains a key part of the Drumfire’s appeal. Both enclosures feature cabinets wrapped in faux leather, with hand-stitched detailing and solid aluminium accents. The look is classic rock ’n’ roll, with a soft designer edge. Colour options include soft white, grey and black.

Available now, the Drumfire D-2 W is priced at £350 (€400 / $400), while the floor-standing Drumfire II W sells for £600 (€700 /r $700).
