British gin brand Renais has announced its first fine art collaboration, unveiling the Renais x Frankie Penwill Harvest Edition, a limited release of 600 bottles celebrating the harvest season.

The special edition pairs Renais’ terroir-driven gin with bespoke artwork by London-based artist and print designer Frankie Penwill, known for botanical and floral motifs.

Penwill has created a new bottle label and packaging sleeve inspired by the changing of the seasons, along with a signed fine art print included with every bottle.

A meeting of art and distillation

Founded by Alex and Emma Watson, Renais Gin draws its inspiration from the family’s Domaine Watson vineyard in Chablis, Northern France, where their father has made wine for over three decades. The gin is distilled using grape spirit from Burgundy wine production and infused with hand-selected botanicals, resulting in a distinctive profile that balances minerality, citrus brightness, and floral lift.

For the Harvest Edition, this artisanal character is reflected visually in Penwill’s artwork.

“I loved collaborating with the team at Renais and was inspired by the grape harvest in Chablis to create the label, sleeve and print adorned with the harvest moon, stars, vines and grapes,” says Penwill. “Alex and Emma have chosen only the finest botanicals for their gin, and that really resonated with me and my work.”

Renais’ CEO and co-founder Alex Watson adds: “We were delighted with the opportunity to work with Frankie. Her focus on the natural world and botanical forms perfectly complements our ethos of terroir and craftsmanship. I came across her work on Instagram and immediately felt she was the perfect fit for our 2025 festive gift pack.”

The Renais Harvest Edition boasts the same bright, complex spirit that has earned the brand international acclaim.

At 40% ABV, it offers layers of citrus, floral, and vinous character, a gin equally at home sipped neat over ice or mixed into a refined Martini or celebratory G&T.

The Renais x Frankie Penwill Harvest Edition is priced at £65, available exclusively from renais.co.uk. Each bottle includes a signed and numbered A4 fine art print by Frankie Penwill, presented in a gift tube.

Renais Small Batch gin is available from Master of Malt, priced £40.
