Goldmund £22k Mimesis Signature preamplifier hailed as the apex of craftsmanship and audio precision

Swiss luxury audio brand Goldmund is tuning into the desires of hi-fi aficionados with the launch of its Mimesis Signature preamplifier, an extravagance that harmonises technology with exquisite craftsmanship. The icing on the cake? A cool £22.5K price tag that places it firmly in the echelons of high-end audio luxury.

The design philosophy of this posh pre-amp revolves around achieving unparalleled audio purity, with distinct separation of analogue and digital power supplies shielding the audio signal from potential noise interference.

Beneath the hood is a high precision ESS Sabre32 DAC, able to handle PCM audio data up to 384kHz 32-bit and DSD up to the DSD512, with a dynamic range of 129dB and a remarkably low THD+N of -120dB.

The minimalistic design aesthetic is recognisably Goldmund. The top panel features a ‘No-screw-design,’ for an uncluttered appearance, while the side panels echo the design ethos of the brand’s active speaker range.

Connectivity includes two digital coaxial inputs, an optical digital input and a USB audio port. Analogue ingress come via three RCA pairs and balanced XLR inputs. Outputs comprise two RCA phonos and XLR.

A statement of refined taste, as well sonic refinement, the Mimesis Signature Preamplifier is available now, priced at 20,000 Swiss Francs.
