This Loewe premium portable Bluetooth radio honours a century of sound

German technology giant Loewe has unveiled the radio.frequency DAB+ portable radio, a testament to a century of audio expertise and a nod to the company’s illustrious history.

The stylish new £199 portable is a homage to the original Loewe local receiver 0E 333, the company’s pioneering radio, albeit with a wireless technology upgrade.

Much like its inspiration, the radio features fine oak wood inlays, invoking a sense of the brand’s heritage. The acoustic fabric, specially crafted in-house in a distinctive basalt colour, accentuates the radio’s premium appeal.

Features include FM, DAB+, and Bluetooth 5.0, delivered by a robust 28 watts amplifier and two full-range speakers and a passive bass radiator.

Equipped with a USB-C charging port and a built-in rechargeable battery, it offers up to 14 hours of portable playtime. Additional niceties include a wake-up alarm and snooze function.
