LG unveils Styler cleaning and storage system for your sneaker collection

The LG ShoeCase and ShoeCare system in what appears to be a teen bedroom

LG has unveiled a storage and cleaning solution for your sneakers. The latest addition to its Styler range of clothing care tech, the ShoeCase and ShoeCare unit was unveiled at IFA 2022, and is designed for those with collections of limited-edition luxury footwear.

LG believes sneakerheads have been waiting for just such an innovation.

The LG Styler ShoeCase provides a humid-free environment with UV light protection; transparent panels showcase footwear while a 360-degree rotating turntable allows hero sneakers to take pride of place.

The ShoeCase has a modular design, so that up to four cases can be stacked on top of one another.

As we saw on the original clothing Styler, TrueSteam technology is used to refresh your shoe collection. A Zeo-Dry filter is used  to soak up moisture and remove smells.

Steam clean your sneakers with this new LG Styler

The LG Styler ShoeCare solution can be optimised for leather, suede and sports footwear, with 10 different treatments available to owners. The new Styler can refresh up to four pairs of shoes in 37 minutes, while operating at just 35 decibels.

Another novel feature is LG’s multiple Moving Nozzle, which dries out the insides of the shoes being refreshed. It can be adjusted according to the height of each pair. A Dual Care System feature allows users to clean two different types of shoes at the same time.

As you’d expect from LG, you can monitor the status of the LG Styler ShoeCase and ShoeCare can be accessed via the ThinQ app.

The LG’s Styler ShoeCase and ShoeCare will debut in South Korea. As yet, there’s no UK launch set.
