A new 40 room four-star hotel, set on a 1,000 acre estate in the heart of North Yorkshire, opens its doors for the first time this week. With an 18-hole championship golf course on its doorstep, plus walking and cycling trails to explore, Sandburn Hall Hotel looks well timed to take advantage of the UK’s Staycation Summer boom.
Following a £5m+ investment, the hotel boasts forty country-style bedrooms, including two luxurious suites, with pencil post four-poster beds and balconies overlooking the hotel’s courtyard and landscaped lakes and gardens.
The 1,000 acre family-owned estate is just fifteen minutes east of York, and 40 minutes from the North York Moors, and the coastal resorts of Scarborough and Whitby.
