High-style Italian kitchen brand Smeg has launched its first ever collection of cookware. Best known for stylish retro fridges and small cooking appliances, the company has applied the same signature design aesthetic to everyday kitchen essentials – and the results are mouth-watering.
The launch comprises two different sized frying pans, a wok and a casserole dish.
Made in Italy, the line has been designed to suit culinary connoisseurs and inspire home cooks alike.
Smeg’s trademark attention to detail can be seen in the riveted stainless-steel handles, reminiscent of the handles on its FAB fridge range.
The Smeg frying pan has been equipped with a long stainless-steel handle to provide extra control during cooking; a vent hole in the flat lid of the Smeg casserole dish prevents over-boiling or rattling.
For ease post-cooking, holes are present in all handles to allow water drainage during dishwashing. Naturally, all pans are dishwasher safe.

The entire Smeg cookware range feature a non-stick primer coating, allowing food to brown without the nuisance of sticking or having to use extra oil in your cooking. The range works on all hob types including induction. The cookware, including the pan lids, can be placed in an oven up to 250°C.
Using cold forged aluminium, a perfectly thickened bottom and six-layer stainless-steel plate ensures uniform heating distribution and ensures the product retains its shape in high temperatures.
This cookware range launches in three colourways: a classic matt black, a striking matt red and a minimalist but chic matt cream. The Smeg casserole dish sells for £169.95 (24cm) and £189 (26cm); frying pan: £99.95 (24cm), £109 (26cm), £119.95 (28 cm), and the Wok £139.95 (30cm)
