Legendary Italian motorcycle maker Moto Guzzi has begun shipping its eagerly awaited ‘Centenario’ special limited edition V7 Stone best-seller and V85 TT adventure model, as part of its 2021 centenary celebrations.
Available from Moto Guzzi direct and local dealers, their distinctive colour scheme and aesthetics pay homage to the 8-cylinder 500 Bialbero of 1955, with a satin-finished metal fuel tank, green fairing, a leather seat and a specifically crafted 100Y Moto Guzzi logo for a golden finish.
The colour scheme also recalls the livery of the classic 350 Bialbero racer, which dominated the 350 class in World Championship GP Motorcycle Racing, with 9 consecutive world titles (five Rider and four Manufacturer), between 1953 to 1957.
A V9 Bobber Centenario, with similar limited edition throw-back livery, will follow in July. However, we’re told that particular edition won’t be available in the UK market.
