The Carlton Tower Jumeirah will make Knightsbridge even more luxe this December with elegant new renovations

Knightsbridge is about to get even more luxurious. Yes, it is possible: The Carlton Tower Jumeirah will reopen its doors later this year following the most extensive renovation in its 60 year history, and it’s set to exude ultimate London luxe.

Standing tall in the heart of Knightsbridge, the 5-star accommodation will reopen this December with fewer but larger rooms – just 186 – so, while it may be one of the tallest hotels in London, expect an exclusive vibe that feels positively boutique.

The renovations include reducing the number of guestrooms, but making the rooms themselves bigger

To truly stay in style, Jumeirah’s European flagship will also offer newly-created signature and junior suites, each boasting their own balconies with spectacular views over London, and guests will have exclusive access to private garden square Cadogan Gardens and its tennis courts.

It’s the most extensive renovation in the hotel’s history, with an an illustrious past as an A-lister haunt. The hotel has been reinvented for a new generation of discerning guests with timeless decor by esteemed interior and architecture design studio 1508 London. 1508 has drawn on the hotel’s rich history and glamorous heritage and its quintessential London location, to offer a brand new look informed by modern interpretations of classic British architecture.

Naturally, it’s a design perfect for your Instagram, too. New features include an exquisitely redesigned glass entrance and lobby with a bespoke chandelier, which incorporates an abstract interpretation of a chrysanthemum, inspired by Cadogan Gardens’ history as a botanical garden.

The hotel has been reinvented by esteemed interior and architecture design studio 1508 London.

The hotel’s famous health club, The Peak Fitness Club & Spa, set across three floors, will also be revitalised with separate membership options. The Peak boasts a new Talise Spa on the hotel’s second floor, featuring London’s largest 20m swimming pool with natural daylight and views through its glass ceiling… and if you’d rather relax and admire the view, it’ll be lined with poolside cabanas for relaxation, too. Additionally, The Peak will incorporate studio classes with breath-taking panoramic views across the capital.

New F&B concepts at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah include a destination restaurant and bar, boasting a theatre kitchen for immersive dining, craft cocktails and a world class wine-list, a private dining room and alfresco seating on Cadogan Place. Additionally, the Chinoiserie is an all-day lobby lounge and bar offering a ‘cake-o-clock’ afternoon tea concept, served late into the evening. Which is perfect, because as we at The Luxe Review Towers will attest, it’s always cake-o-clock.
