Bella Hadid leads MICHAEL Michael Kors’ new Fall campaign in sumptuous, Seventies-inspired looks – and it’s enough to make you pack away your entire summer wardrobe and embrace a new life of rock and roll bohemian chic, in paisley motifs, oversized statement shades and all the suede and faux fur textures.
Oozing rock and roll glamour and carefree vibes, the new campaign follows Hadid with her groupies in a series of classic rock star vignettes. Shot by photographer Mikael Jansson, the supermodel is seen leaving a gig venue, and lounging with bandmates on the road, and looking effortlessly cool while doing it.
“The campaign channels the ultimate in rock star glamour,” says Michael Kors, “The laid-back cool, the attitude and the star power.”
The hero bag of the season, as modelled by Bella, is the SoHo. It’s a brand new silhouette to Michael Kors, and is named after the iconic New York City neighbourhood, known for its cobblestone streets, art galleries and high-end boutiques. It comes in both patent and matte leathers with silver and gold hardware, and in large and extra large sizes, too.
The new luxe shoulderbag is perfect to take from day-to-dark, thanks to its NYC neighbourhood-inspired combination of uptown-esque polished, quilted leather, with the downtown edge of the push-lock fastening and metallic hardware. Wear crossbody to elevate daytime jeans and a tee, or effortlessly pair with a little back dress for evening glam.
