Sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck reopens with high-end high-up dining

The Sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck reopened this weekend, offering high-end dining 393 metres above Victoria Harbour. The future for international might be far from clear, but we’re certainly adding the spectacular views from this Hong Kong tourist landmark to our bucket list.

At sky100, visitors can take in the iconic Hong Kong skyline, as well as the distinctive cityscape of the Kowloon peninsula and outlying islands, such as Lantau Island and Cheung Chau.

It takes barely a minute to reach the 100/F, courtesy of Hong Kong’s fastest double-deck elevator, and what promises to be a comprehensive range of interactive multimedia exhibitions, celebrating the city’s historical and cultural heritage.

Might want to to point that telescope down a tad…

Recognising that international holiday makers will largely be absent, at least in the short term, sky100 aims to attract Hongkongers on staycation with a range of newly announced 9th anniversary special offers, including afternoon tea for two and Twilight Dining.

A Hong Kong Resident-Exclusive two for the price of one ticket (HK$499), available up until June 30, includes an new Afternoon Tea Set for Two at the Café 100 by The Ritz-Carlton. On the menu is a mini soft bun with creamy farm corn and spicy chicken, classic obatzda cheese with laugen bread, baked wild mushroom and cheese vol-au-vent and smoked salmon mini Swiss roll with refreshing lemon curd.

Desserts include traditional Hong Kong milk tea cream verrine with spiced apricot, crunchy chocolate brownies, green tea and raspberry chocolate cup and scones with clotted cream and jam. Just the thing for a Mother’s Day treat.
