The latest high profile programme commission from Apple for its nascent streaming TV service is Suspicion, a new edge-of-the-seat drama starring Academy Award-nominated actress Uma Thurman.

The show, a thriller that follows the kidnapping of the son of a American businesswoman (Thurman), is based on the Israeli series False Flag, created by Amit Cohen and Maria Feldman.

The abduction from a large, upmarket hotel in central New York is captured on video and goes viral. Four British citizens staying at the hotel become the prime suspects – but are they guilty or simply in the wrong place at the wrong time?
