Scenes in the Square statues pay tribute to classic cinema

We absolutely love the new  ‘Scenes in the Square’ statues which have popped up in Leicester Square, as part of its anniversary celebrations. Reflecting iconic characters and scenes, there’s eight in total. The Square was closed when I got there in the evening, so could only see those on the outside – Mary Poppins, Bugs Bunny and Gene Kelly. I’ll go back to see the rest for sure. Make sure you catch them, because they’re only going to be around until the Summer apparently. I think they should be a permanent fixture!
