Christmas is coming, and Master of Malt and Drinks by the Dram are ready with a new collection of spirits advent calendars, with 30ml wax-sealed drams behind every door.
The calendars cover everything from classic Scotch and Japanese whisky to gin, rum and vodka, and the vast majority of the included spirits are new for this year. The 25-dram calendars run from December 1 to Christmas Day, while 12-dram versions offer a shorter countdown.
Each sample is large enough to enjoy neat or use in a cocktail. The calendars also offer a unique way to explore premium spirits without committing to full bottles. On average, buying the calendars represents a saving of 40 per cent compared with purchasing all the individual drams separately, we’re told.

At £99.95, Drinks by the Dram’s Premium Gin Advent Calendar provides a gin-focused alternative, with bottles from Japan, Kenya, India, Germany and the Scottish islands, alongside two celebrity gins.
