The Macallan has unveiled the sixth and final release in its Harmony Collection, bringing the series to a close with two single malt whiskies inspired by coconut.
The Macallan Harmony Collection, Inspired by Fresh Coconut and Inspired by Toasted Coconut explore the flavour from two distinct directions, while sharing the same focus on oak, maturation and balance.
The Macallan’s Whisky Mastery team has used a combination of sherry seasoned American oak casks and casks that previously held bourbon to bring coconut to the foreground, creating a pair that ranges from fresh and citrus-led to richer and more confectionery in character.

The Macallan Harmony Collection tasting notes
Inspired by Fresh Coconut looks to be the more vibrant of the two expressions. Bottled at 46.3% ABV, official tasting notes report fresh coconut, citrus and tropical fruit on the nose, with vanilla, sweet oak and gentle spice. On the palate, coconut milk is joined by zesty lime and soft sweetness. The finish is said to be bright and floral.
Sister release Inspired by Toasted Coconut is only available through selected Global Travel Retail partners and takes a richer route. Its nose reportedly combines toasted coconut with crème caramel and white chocolate. The palate offers coconut truffle, charred pineapple and frangipane, followed by a long, warming finish marked by sweet oak and tropical fruit.
The packaging continues the collection’s interest in material innovation. Discarded coconut fibres are transformed through an emission-free process into a textured material with a natural black hue, giving organic waste a second use as part of the presentation.
