Bentley has expanded its long-running partnership with Naim by introducing a new flagship in-car system, Naim for Mulliner, across a dedicated Virtuoso Collection of models. Developed from the ultra-exclusive system first created for the Bentley Batur, the new collaboration now brings the same studio-grade listening experience to the Bentley Continental GT, Bentley Continental GTC and Bentley Bentayga.
This is no option-box flourish, but as an integral part of the cabin experience. It’s the most immersive audio experience Bentley has ever offered. A fusion of high‑end hi‑fi engineering and luxury automotive design.
Dolby Atmos support, Fraunhofer Symphoria spatial rendering and hand-wound Focal-derived drivers combine to create a three-dimensional sound field that places every passenger at the centre of the performance, whether it’s a live jazz session, orchestral recording or a favourite late-night playlist.

A collaboration shaped by heritage and precision
This Bentley-Naim bromance dates back to 2008. More than 10,000 hours of development work that went into the Batur programme have now been carried forward into the Virtuoso Collection. The goal is simple: turn the cabin into something closer to a private listening room than a moving vehicle.
The Naim for Mulliner system features 18 speaker drivers and two upgraded active channels, including four TAM tweeters, nine Focal Utopia M-series midrange units, four dedicated woofers, an ultra-high-performance subwoofer and two active bass enhancement seats.
That last detail is especially clever for owners. The seat-integrated transducers add low-frequency tactility, so bass is not only heard but felt through the seat base, bringing an extra sense of presence to concert recordings and club mixes.
For owners of Mulliner’s Virtuoso Collection, the benefits go well beyond any headline hardware brag.
The system places special emphasis on the midrange, often described by audio engineers as the emotional core of music. By using Focal’s W cone, M-profile geometry and TMD suspension technology, distortion is reduced while vocal presence and instrumental texture are preserved with remarkable realism.
Voices feel startlingly present, string sections gain body and separation, and live recordings retain the scale and air of the venue, says the brand.
The addition of Dolby Atmos transforms this further, creating a multi-dimensional soundstage with convincing width, depth and height. For owners who spend long hours touring, commuting between homes or being chauffeur-driven, it turns every journey into something more exhilerating.
Bentley has also ensured that acoustic performance doesn’t come at the expense of aesthetics. Bespoke Champagne Gold speaker grilles use an open rosette-style design that improves acoustic transparency by 26 per cent, allowing more sound energy to pass cleanly into the cabin while also becoming one of the collection’s signature visual details.
Luxury design and sound converge
Perhaps the most compelling aspect of this collaboration is how fully it has been integrated into Mulliner’s design language.
The Virtuoso Collection is offered in three themes (Soprano, Tenor and Bass) each pairing the Naim rig with curated materials, embroidered detailing and finishes chosen partly for their sound-absorbing qualities.
The promise is a cabin where sound, materials and craftsmanship are working toward the same goal: calm, immersive luxury.
The Virtuoso Collection is available across the Continental GT, Continental GTC, Bentayga, and soon, the Flying Spur.
Now here’s something you don’t see every day: a £35,000 sound system built from a real Lamborghini supercar exhaust. The iXOOST ESAVOX isn’t a concept or a marketing gimmick. It’s a fully functional Bluetooth sound system handcrafted in Italy from genuine Lamborghini components, complete with a working start/stop button that powers on the system, much…
