Cambridge x Maharishi: A union rooted in music culture
The partnership has been launched with visuals featuring Jazzie B of Soul II Soul, alongside Maharishi founder Hardy Blechman. Both embody the intersection of British sound system culture and the design-led reinterpretation of streetwear.
Nick Udall, Head of Marketing and Brand Partnerships at Cambridge, said: “I’ve been a long-time admirer of Maharishi. They have been intrinsic to the music I listen to, and I aspired to be a customer for many years. Being able to bring together our brands has been really organic – both parties had a desire to explore each other’s customer bases, and so everything fell into place from the first meeting.”
Hardy Blechman echoed the sentiment: “Cambridge Audio has always represented purity and honesty in sound. There’s a deep respect for music in what they do and how they do it. This collaboration allowed us to explore the crossover between high-fidelity sound and design-led expression. It felt natural from the start.”
The Cambridge Audio x Maharishi Melomania A100 earphones are available from cambridgeaudio.com and maharishistore.com, priced at £139. The Cambridge Audio x Maharishi Alva ST turntable will follow later in 2025, priced at £649.
