Champagne Bollinger has announced the Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition, marking more than 45 years as the official champagne of James Bond. The new bottling arrives in time for James Bond Day, observed annually on October 5, and coincides with the 40th anniversary of A View to a Kill.
The partnership between Bollinger and Bond began on screen in 1979 with Moonraker, though the brand was first name-checked in Ian Fleming’s 1956 novel Diamonds Are Forever. Since then, the champagne house and cinema’s most famous spy have developed one of the longest-running product placements in film history, cementing Bollinger as the ‘Champagne of James Bond.’

The Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition is housed in a black collector’s box inspired by the hypnotic circles of the Bond opening sequence, complete with a gold gun barrel motif and Bond’s silhouette at the centre.
Subtle metallic embossing enhances the black-and-gold design, with the 007 logo placed beneath Bollinger’s name. The bottle itself carries Bond branding on the neck collar, underscoring its collectible credentials.
Victoria Carfantan, Director of Global Partnerships at Champagne Bollinger, said: “Champagne Bollinger and James Bond share a commitment to elegance, craftsmanship, and timeless sophistication. This release is both a celebration of our shared history and an invitation for Bond fans and champagne lovers alike to savour the taste of The Champagne of James Bond.”
Bollinger’s latest release celebrates 40 years of A View to a Kill
The release serves as a nod to A View to a Kill (1985), in which Roger Moore’s Bond and Tanya Roberts’ Stacey Sutton share Bollinger at Zorin’s French estate, a sequence immortalised in the film’s promotional artwork.
To mark James Bond Day this year, British Airways will be serving the Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition Champagne in Club World business class on all long-haul flights between 1 and 5 October. Passengers across long-haul cabins will also be able to enjoy a complete Bond experience, with the full 25-film collection available on inflight entertainment systems until the end of 2025.
The Champagne Bollinger Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition is now available in limited quantities worldwide.
Pricing will vary by market, but collectors and Bond enthusiasts should expect a premium above the standard Special Cuvée release.
