Sonus faber and Lamborghini unveil limited edition €125k Il Cremonese Ex3me loudspeaker

Sonus faber Lamborghini speaker

Italian loudspeaker specialist Sonus faber has unveiled an ultra-limited edition of its Il Cremonese Ex3me floorstanding Hi-Fi speaker, developed in collaboration with supercar manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini.

The model, which made its debut at Monterey Car Week in Pebble Beach, California, will be limited to just 50 numbered pairs worldwide.

The Il Cremonese Ex3me – Automobili Lamborghini Edition combines the sharp-edged, performance-driven design language of Lamborghini’s super sports cars with the artisanal craftsmanship for which Sonus faber is known.

Available in five classic Lambo finishes (Giallo Countach, Arancio Egon, Blu Marinus Matte, Verde Mercurius, and Nero Nemesis Matte), the cabinets feature angular five-sided construction, carbon fibre detailing, Corsa-Tex panels and the Lamborghini shield emblem.

Each unit is assembled and tuned by hand in Italy, with Sonus faber technicians adjusting the final voicing by ear.

Lamborghini design meets Sonus faber sound

Behind the distinctive design, the technical specification remains uncompromising. A Beryllium DLC diaphragm tweeter, derived from the flagship Ex3ma, delivers extended high-frequency detail beyond 35 kHz. The 180mm natural fibre midrange driver, made from air-dried cellulose, Kapok, and Kenaf, provides warmth and realism.

Bass comes from dual 180mm woofers with sandwich cone construction, complemented by nanocarbon-fibre reinforced infrawoofers in sealed reflex chambers for deep, controlled low-frequency output.

The crossover network uses Sonus faber’s Paracross Topology, built with Mundorf components for phase precision and a reduced noise floor.

The result is a loudspeaker to satisfy both discerning audiophiles and fans of high-performance automotive design. For music lovers, it promises a listening experience approaching that of a live performance; for design enthusiasts, it stands as a statement piece in premium interiors.

“Listening to music, much like driving, is a multi-sensory and emotional experience,” said Jim Mollica, Chief Marketing Officer and President of Luxury Audio at Bose Corporation.

“With the introduction of Il Cremonese Ex3me – Automobili Lamborghini Edition, we’re bringing the craftsmanship of high-performance sound and the precision of automotive design into the home. With over 100 years of combined excellence, we’re proud to continue our collaboration with our long-standing partner Lamborghini.”

The Il Cremonese Ex3me – Automobili Lamborghini Edition is priced at €125,000 ($130,000) per pair, with UK pricing to be confirmed. Register your interest with Sonus faber here

Each pair is made to order, with a minimum three-month lead time from order confirmation to delivery.
