To celebrate the release of Gladiator 2, director Ridley Scott is launching two limited-edition wines, Caracalla and Geta, named after the Roman emperors featured in the upcoming film. The wines, part of Mas des Infermières’ Imperatores Collection, bear Scott’s exclusive label designs depicting the two historic brothers and will be available from November 4 at Selfridges stores and online.
For collectors, a premium magnum edition of Imperatores will include a signed commemorative card and a prop Roman coin from the movie, priced at £300.

Ridley Scott’s involvement in the limited edition run of Caracalla and Geta reflects his passion not only for film but for winemaking as well. Scott and his family have operated Mas des Infermières, a Luberon vineyard in southern France, since 1992.
Over the past decade, this estate has become renowned for award-winning vintages that honour Provençal traditions and terroir. Scott’s vision for the Imperatores Collection extends beyond the wines themselves to unique labels, which he personally illustrated to represent Gladiator 2’s protagonists.
“The brothers are two very interesting, colourful characters,” Scott said. “I wanted to bring the bottles to life with these whimsical effigies.”

Caracalla, the red wine, named after the emperor played by Fred Hechinger, is a Syrah-Grenache blend. With aromas of ripe black fruits and spices, the wine boasts a rich, silky finish and balanced tannins, said to capture the complexity and boldness of its namesake.
Meanwhile, Geta, the white wine, named for the character portrayed by Joseph Quinn, is a blend of Rolle, Clairette, and Roussanne grapes. Fresh and floral, it offers notes of white fruits and citrus with a hint of almond, making it a lively yet refined choice.
Both Caracalla and Geta are priced at £25.99, offering film and wine fans alike the chance to bring a taste of Gladiator home.
Exclusive Gladiator 2 wines: A collector’s dream
The collector’s edition, Imperatores Collector’s Magnum, is an ultra-premium, numbered magnum of red wine, aged from the estate’s oldest Syrah vines. Packaged in an elegant box with a hand-signed card from Scott and a film prop Roman coin, this £300 special edition is expected to be a hot item for both cinema and wine collectors.
Scott has gifted bottles of Imperatores to Gladiator 2 stars Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, and Pedro Pascal, adding to its exclusive appeal.
Neil McDonald, Selfridges’ wine buyer, remarked on the collaboration: “We’re thrilled to be working with Mas des Infermières on this limited edition collection… Ridley’s playful sketches look great on the bottles and make them a fantastic gift for any film or wine fan.”
Selfridges’ London Cinema Bar will stock the wines, offering a unique way to experience Gladiator 2, which premieres on November 15.
