British sculptor, David Harber and fine jewellery maker, Annoushka Ducas MBE have joined forces to create a remarkable new jewellery piece.
Known as the Armillary charm, this unique pendant draws inspiration from one of Harber’s earliest artworks, the Armillary Sphere. Emulating a classic sundial, it combines aesthetic allure with a practical timekeeping function.

The Armillary charm marks the first time Harber has ventured into creating a miniature and, notably, his first piece of jewellery. While it may be on a smaller scale compared to his grand sculptures, it carries the same meticulous attention to detail.
The hours on the pendant are depicted by a combination of diamonds and sapphires, while the spinning dial allows light to shimmer through the central quartz. This charm is an ode to time, meticulously encased within an 18ct solid yellow gold sphere.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Harber said: “Working with the Annoushka team this year on two individually unique pieces has been nothing but rewarding. Stepping out of my comfort zone and working on something on such a minute scale has opened my eyes to the intricacies of metalwork that I’m not typically familiar with. It’s been a fascinating learning process, and we’re hugely excited about this partnership and the fact we can now offer something totally new and unique to our customers.”
Earlier this year, the duo presented their inaugural collaborative piece, Sycamore, a limited-edition garden sculpture inspired by Annoushka’s yellow gold and diamond Sycamore charm.
Ducas, known crafting charms that are both functional and beautiful, commented: “There is nothing more satisfying than emulating a life-size sculpture into a tiny, intricate charm. I am fanatical about the smallest of details and often design my charms with spinning parts and opening lockets to create a replica that is both functional and beautiful to the wearer. I was thrilled to work with David again.”
Available now, the David Harber x Annoushka Armillary charm is priced at £6,900.
