Wind of change: Laco debuts stylish midsize Scorpion adventure watches

A Laco Scorpion 39mm adventure watch worn by a sportswoman

German watch specialist Laco is jumping on the narrow case trend, with a chic new range of mid-size adventure watches.

Available in four colours with different strap variants, the new Scorpion line comprises the white Himalaya, orange Mojave, green Amazonas and blue Atlantik editions.

The reduced case diameter of 39mm is ideal for explorers with slightly narrower wrists, as well as fashionistas.

A black dial with Arabic numerals in white provides uniform legibility. The unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel, as well as the indexes and the minute hand, are treated with luminous Superluminova.

The new Scorpions sport double-domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a screw-down crown. Like their 42mm stablemates, the squad/sports models also have a striking Scorpion relief on the caseback.

These dive watches are good for 30 ATM.

The models use a ‘Laco 200’ movement, which is based on the high quality Sellita SW200, with a power reserve of 38 hours. There’s a choice of robust rubber straps and metal bracelets, to suit your mood and dress style.

Available now, these new Laco Scorpions are priced at €930 (with rubber strap) or €980 (with metal bracelet).
