Top British audio brand Bowers & Wilkins has officially partnered with the James Bond film franchise, releasing a special 007 edition of its high-end Px8 headphones.
The collaboration seems a perfect fit. Bowers & Wilkins already enjoys a long standing relationship with Abbey Road Studios, the iconic London recording facility where its legendary 800 Series loudspeakers have been used to monitor numerous film scores, including Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015).
More recently, as part of the film franchise’s 60th anniversary, Abbey Road Studios engineers used the brand’s loudspeakers to help create Bond 25, an album featuring all 25 iconic Bond themes with brand new arrangements recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in Abbey Road Studio One.
Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Dr. No, the Px8 007 Edition sports a stylish Midnight Blue finish, apparently inspired by the tuxedo worn by Bond in his first on-screen appearance, and some subtle 007 detailing.

Angled to ensure a consistent distance, relative to your ear, the drivers take a lead from the Carbon Dome drive units found in Bowers & Wilkins 700 Series loudspeakers.
The headphones use Qualcomm aptXTM Adaptive wireless technology, but USB-C and 3.5mm analogue cable connections are also supported.
The new Px8 007 Edition are available from the Bowers & Wilkins website, and the 007Store.com, priced at £699 ($799 / €799).
