We’ve all become used to ordering food for a fine dining experience at home during lockdown, but now a premium golf resort in Portugal has embraced the same concept.
The Four Seasons Fairways in Quinta do Lago has introduced a new food delivery concept that allows guests to order from the main restaurant for delivery straight to their villa.
They’ve dubbed it Drop & Scoff. It’s room service, villa style.
Guests can order food and drink from the resort’s VIVO Bistro & Cocktail Lounge straight to their villa. Breakfast, lunch, dinner – dine in or head out onto your private terrace or garden.
Start the day with some traditional pastel de nata, French toast and perhaps a Feta, Cheese & Rocket or Wild Berry Breakfast Bowl.

If you’d prefer to cook at your leisure on your very own outdoor BBQ, the resort also offers DIY BBQ Packs with a choice of meat or fish to cook at your villa – Sirloin & Ribeye steaks, Lamb Chops, Sea Bass and Salmon. Spend over 40Euros and they’ll throw in a complimentary bottle of house wine!
All of which sounds deliciously tempting. We’re just left wondering when anyone will ever have time to make it out onto the fairway…
