If you’ve ever dreamt of driving a white convertible 1956 Porsche 356 A Speedster along the winding roads of the Cote d’Azur, or jumping into a pine green 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB 2 Short Nose for the weekend, then new classic car rental platform Rent & Drive is right up your street.
Launched by premium driving accessory specialist The Outlierman, the service offers classic car enthusiasts an opportunity to drive some of the world’s most desirable cars.
The service launches with a wide variety of vehicles that can be delivered anywhere in Europe. There’s over 15 classic cars to choose from, and if you can’t find the wheels you want, The Outlierman will help you locate them through its network of collectors and enthusiasts. Rental prices start from £720 (for a 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider).
The service offers classic car enthusiasts an opportunity to drive some of the world’s most desirable cars…
To help you gain the most from your European driving experience, the company will advise on the most scenic driving routes, including places worth a special visit, such as restaurants and vineyards, alongside artistic, cultural and natural attractions. They even offer the opportunity to participate in some of Europe’s iconic vintage car races, like Italy’s historic Mille Miglia.
The Bologna-based company will also equip you with handmade Italian leather driving gloves, and silk accessories crafted by master tailors in Como, everything you need to play the part.
“I’m thrilled to launch our new classic car rental platform,” says founder Andrea Mazzuca, “making it easier than ever for our customers to create their own memorable road trip. I have always had a passion for driving classic sports cars and wanted to create something special, which I could use both for myself, and share with likeminded car enthusiasts. With access to some of the world’s finest classic sports cars, we can provide unforgettable experiences that many automotive aficionados only dream of.”
