You won’t want to miss this star-studded AC/DC Back in Black 40th anniversary livestream

The 40th anniversary of AC/DC’s seminal rock masterpiece Back in Black will be celebrated in a live stream hosted by Gibson in collaboration with music website Consequence of Sound, this Friday, July 24.

The Back in Black 40th Anniversary: A Virtual Celebration event boasts a veritable who’s who of rock, with contributions from Slash, Sebastian Bach, members of Alice in Chains, Cage the Elephant, Anthrax, Trivium, Lamb of God, Refused, Airbourne, GWAR, Cherie Currie, Dave Amato, Orianthi, Emily Wolfe, Brian Posehn and Sergio Vallin of Mana, amongst others.

The special event will also include AC/DC testimonials, appearances, tutorials and performances. Rock fans won’t want to miss out.

The livestream will be free to watch across the social channels (Youtube, Facebook, Twitch) of Consequence of Sound, beginning at 22.00pm BST.

Back in Black was the first AC/DC album to feature Brian Johnson, after the death of original vocalist Bon Scott. 

The album has since sold over 50 million copies in multiple formats and boasts some of the most instantly recognisable riffs in rock, courtesy of classic songs like Hells Bells, You Shook Me All Night Long, and the unmistakable title track.
