Lovecraft Country is the shocking new horror TV show from Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams

Sky could have a breakout hit on its hands with Lovecraft Country, if the track record of the creative team behind this upcoming horror drama (and trailer) are anything to go by!

The 10 part series, which will debut on Sky Atlantic and Now TV August 17, is based on the 2016 novel by Matt Ruff. It follows Atticus Freeman as he joins friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father.

What follows is a struggle to survive the racism of segregated America… and terrifying monsters that seem to have escaped the writings of H.P. Lovecraft.
