This online yoga class will transport you to a luxury boutique Thai residence

Thailand’s luxurious boutique residence, The Sarojin, is hosting a new series of virtual yoga and meditation classes to transport you into its gorgeous grounds, right in your own home.

Whether you’re a beginner looking for some meditative morning escapism, or an expert yogi looking for an authentic thai session, the live classes are designed to enrich the body and soul for all skill levels.

Each deluxe residence has its own private garden, Sala sundeck and plunge pool, and guests even receive access to an attentive “Imagineer” who can create tailor-made experiences just for them…

Personally, more than anything we’re excited to immerse ourselves in the stunning landscape of The Sarojin and Khao Lak, one of the most peaceful destinations in Thailand, from The Luxe Review towers. It surely beats our regular wake-up coffee routine.

Sure beats the view from TLR towers

A marvel of contemporary Asian design, The Sarojin’s 5 star resort is beautifully set on an 11km stretch of secluded white sand beach in Khao Lak, just a 55-minute drive north of Phuket Airport, and is surrounded by five spectacular national parks and the world-famous dive sites of the Similan and Surin Islands.

Each of the resort’s 56 plush designer residences, comes with its own private garden, Sala sundeck and plunge pool, and guests even receive access to an attentive ‘Imagineer’ who can create tailor-made experiences just for them.

While The Sarojin’s guests have full use of the resort’s fitness facilities, the at-home 60 minute yoga classes are streamed live via Zoom from The Sarojin’s grounds at 10am (UK time) every Tuesday and Thursday and promise to be the ultimate, wellness-inducing way to start the day (second only to a dip in our own private, tropical-garden surrounded Sarojin plunge pool, of course).

Special classes to boost your immune system

Led and created by the resort’s expert teacher Justine Capdevielle, each virtual yoga session incorporates both Vinyasa and Kundalini yoga alongside meditation and mindfulness techniques to relax the body and soothe anxiety – both something we could certainly do with a little more of right now. Helpfully, the focus for classes throughout May will also be on boosting the immune system whilst increasing flexibility and strength.

Justine is a certified teacher in Rainbow Yoga, Hatha-Vinyasa, prenatal, postnatal and pregnancy yoga and was a student of Kundalini Yoga for 15 years. She has been part of The Sarojin family since 2018 and regularly hosts sessions for the resort’s guests. While we must admit, we’d rather be following the class in the spectacular The Sarojin resort, as yoga workouts go, this is one of the best not just online – but from around the world.

The Sarojin resort does spectacular spectacularly well

Classes cost £8.75 to join, but you can enjoy your first class free by referencing ‘The Sarojin’ in your booking. To sign up for the classes and claim the free session, just contact Justine via Instagram @justineinyoga, or Facebook @YogaKhaoLak, and bookings must be made at least 24 hours before the class.
