Swedish Hi-Fi specialist Audio Pro brings inimitable scandi style to the world of smart speakers with the G10. Featuring AirPlay 2 and Google Assistant functionality, the diminutive speaker can be used solo or as part of a whole house integrated sound system through Google Cast.
The G10 features a 52W Digital Class D amplifier, and has a 76mm long throw woofer, dual 114mm passive radiators and two 32mm BMR driver tweeters.
It can stand alone or be wall mounted – and if you fancy a boutique hotel Hi-Fi vibe there’s also the option of ceiling mounting, using a contemporary ceiling rail.
Typically speakers mounted on ceiling rails are more commonly seen in hotels, restaurants and shops, but the Swedish manufacturer believes a residential trend is soon to follow. Of course, voice control means there’s no need to physically touch the speaker.

“We have been investigating it for some time,” says Jens Henriksen, CCO at Audio Pro. “Electric rails have been used in public installations for many years, mainly for connection and placement of spotlights. However, we have begun to observe a clear trend also emerging within the home furnishings sector. In connection with this product launch, it therefore seemed quite natural for us to test the market’s response to this new innovative type of audio installation.”
The company says it will look to make Google Cast and AirPlay 2 standard features in all its Hi-Fi products going forward.
Audio Pro G10 is available in either light or dark grey, and is priced at £225.
